A curtain (sometimes known as a drape) is a piece of cloth intended to block or absorb.

Sheer curtains add a touch of elegance to a room, while still letting in natural light.



·         Measure and note window dimensions
·         Measure circumference of the curtain rod
and add 1 inch (2.5 cm) to allow for a seam.
·         Choose curtain panels at least twice the width
of your window frame for a full gathered look.
·         Choose curved rods 1/2 inch to 3/8 inches in width.
·         Drill holes 2 to 4 inches outside and above the
 upper corners of your window frame to add a
decorative rod for a valance, swag or scarf
·         Slide or drape your scarf, swag or valance over

 the rod and place the rod in the brackets.
